Over the years I've had it confirmed again and again, people who buy art have their own personal reasons for selecting a piece they want to call their own.They bring their own meaning and assign their own context to a piece based on their memories, personalities and life experiences.

I have occassionally been surprised by their choices, but always gratified and even humbled when they share the stories or influencies behind their selection.

Obviously, if they choose my work, I want it to bring them continued pleasure throughout their lifetime.
